In late May, HNIT College Volleyball League came to a successful end. A total of 21 teams and 264 players from 11 Schools of HNIT participated in the Volleyball League. Through competition in the preliminary and final phases, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering and the School of International Studies won the Men’s and Women’s championship respectively. School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, the School of Design and Art, and School of Business won the Sportsmanship Award.

In early June, HNIT College Football League also closed successfully. The competition lasted for more than a month with 10 men's football teams and more than 240 players from 10 schools participation. After the preliminaries and finals, School of Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering, School of Material Science and Engineering, School of Safety and Management Engineering won the championship, runner-up and third place respectively. School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, School of Design and Art, and School of Sciences won the Sportsmanship Award.

Holding various sports events for students not only helps the management track the development of PE education and evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching in sports clubs but also enhances the exchanges between schools and the teamwork between students. To a certain extent, it is also beneficial to improve students’ athletic skill and develop their lifelong awareness of physical exercise, which paves the way for the development of mass sports in the future.
