December 8th, Director of International Office from Valparaiso University Mr. Daniel Hoyle and Associate Director of Admissions in China Representative of Valparaiso University Ms. Shan Feng visited the Hunan Institute of Technology (HNIT).

The Vice-President Cui Xiaoli greeted and welcomed the visit of Mr. Hoyle and Ms. Shan Feng. Vice-President Cui said, “We highly value the exchange and cooperation with Valparaiso University, I hope the future cooperation could covers undergraduate exchange, master program, academic exchange and teachers’ continuous study”. Mr. Hoyle agreed with Vice President Cui’s expectation of future cooperation between the two universities.

In addition, Mr. Hoyle introduced the taught-program, student life and study plan in Valparaiso University to students. Third and fourth year students at HNIT show great interest in the master’s program in Valparaiso University. The memorandum had been signed between two universities. Bachelor graduates from HNIT could have an opportunity to further their education by pursuing a master’s degree at Valparaiso University as credits are mutually recognized.
