HNIT won the second prize of the 2015 National College Students’ Chemical Design

After hard work and fierce competition, HNIT successfully won the second prize in the 2015 National College Students’ Chemical Design Competition. The team, named ‘Magician,’ participated in the competition, and is guided by two excellent tutors who are Wang Jinjin, Tang Xinde from School of Material and Chemical Engineering. Five team members, who all major in Chemical Engineering and Technology, are Tang Xiangyu, Hu Yun, Tan Chaojian, Ouyang Guang and Yang Wei respectively.

The annual National College Students’ Chemical Design Competition is jointly held by the National Chemical Industry Association, the National Chemical Industry Education Association and the College-level Chemical Teaching Committee of the National Education Ministry. This year’s competition is the ninth one. This competition is also extremely influential, and far-reaching in the field of chemistry. Since the team ‘Magician’ participated in this competition, all the leaders of HNIT thought highly of it and encouraged every member of this team. ‘Magician’ looked through enormous professional articles and journals and continuously perfected their project. At last, they took the local industry into account and worked out a pragmatic project under their tutors’ guidance. (School of Material and Chemical Engineering)
